The Nebraska Sigma Zeta Education Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that seeks to educate and empower its surrounding community through social action, community consciousness, economic development, and scholarship. Further, this organization was formed for the dual purpose of assisting the Nebraska Chapters of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority in carrying out the following specific goals and objectives: 1. To raise funds for educational purposes, including, for such purposes, the raising of college scholarship funds for disadvantaged minorities. 2. To host and teach workshops that will provide guidance and mentoring to disadvantaged minorities. 3. To make distributions to disadvantaged minorities to attend college and to other organizations with like objectives.
